What is an electromechanical clasp?
An electromechanical latch is a matching part with a mechanical catch for a conventional mechanical lock or door handle with a tab. A non-pressure handle is installed on the outside of the door.

How the YS-132NO (power open) electromechanical latch works
When powered by an access control device (e.g., exit button, reader, radio controller, etc.), the electric latch release releases the extended bolt of the mechanical lock, allowing the door to be opened without pressing the handle or turning the key.

When the door is returned to the closed position, the latch of the electromechanical latch is locked, thereby holding the bolt of the lock in the locked position.

To avoid failure of the lock coil, the continuous time of voltage supply should not exceed 3 seconds.
